Position: Part Time Intervenor ON
Support individuals with dual sensory impairment as a Part Time Intervenor at Sensity in Sarnia, Ontario. Use your skills to empower communication and foster independence in daily living.

Sensity, a leader in Intervenor Services, seeks a dedicated Intervenor to provide support for deafblind individuals. This part-time contract position includes 20-24 hours weekly with evening and weekend shifts available. You will engage in meaningful activities that enhance the lives of those with sensory challenges while enjoying opportunities for personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support individuals in home and community settings

• Utilize communication techniques to convey information

• Empower success in personal hygiene and meal preparation

• Assist in personal care tasks as required

• Develop and support individual goals and objectives

Requirements:

• College diploma in related human services program

• Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities

• Proficiency in American Sign Language or Signed Exact English

• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle

• Ability to lift between 35 lbs to 50 lbs occasionally
