We are hiring a Class 1 Truck Driver to haul pipe for a project near Anzac, Alberta. As a truck driver, you will play a crucial role in transportation, responsible for delivering goods safely and efficiently across various routes. Your primary duties will involve operating a commercial vehicle and hauling pipe for the pipeline crew.
Responsibilities- Operate heavy trucks safely and efficiently in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations
- Load, unload, and properly secure pipe and materials to prevent damage during transport
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any mechanical issues
- Maintain the cleanliness and general condition of the assigned vehicle
- Follow all SRG safety policies, procedures, and site requirements at all times
- Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors
- Valid Class 1 Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Minimum 5 years of experience operating Class 1 trucks
- Experience hauling pipe and related materials
- Physically fit and able to perform the duties of the role
- Ability to work safely, independently, and in a team environment
- Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol test including cannabis
