Financial Manager
Overview
Director of Industrial Finance at DeZURIK — responsible for supporting the DeZURIK Industrial Business Unit strategy and leading finance processes for full P&L and Balance Sheet analysis and forecasting/budgeting. The Finance Director will perform in-depth analysis of business performance across facilities, product lines, customers, and channel partners, and partner with Corporate Finance for month-end reviews and quarterly forecast/annual plan submissions. Reports to the Executive Vice President of Industrial.
PrincipalDuties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
- Be a valued and integral part of the IBU organization, engaging with leadership within the business unit and with Corporate resources
- Develop Finance processes and be viewed as a change agent, role model, and coach including training team members in finance concepts
- Drive business performance and lead Finance processes by:
- Developing in-depth knowledge of the IBU’s target industry segments, major competitors, and market trends to support understanding of business strategies related to the IBU; evaluating North America and International markets and customers served by the portfolio
- Providing advanced analytical support to identify key customer, market, and cost trends with a focus on achieving financial goals including free cash flow and working capital
- Advising and supporting IBU leadership with financial analyses of projects: growth initiatives, portfolio management (product, channel, customer), pricing, costing, and new product development
- Compiling monthly customer and product sales and margin analysis; ensure IBU leaders understand key issues and opportunities
- Delivering accurate monthly/quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting for the business unit, partnering with functional leaders and Corporate
- Engaging in and contributing to the SIOP processes for IBU forecasting and planning
- Participating with Corporate in in-depth financial reviews, strategic planning and modeling for acquisitions in this business segment
- Analyzing significant variances from planned results and providing recommendations to IBU management for continuous improvement
- Ensuring reliability of financial data and analysis by supporting and validating the reconciliation process of ERP, Financial Reporting systems and BI tools
- Partnering with Corporate finance to help ensure monthly results accuracy as needed
- Helping standardize and improve key processes and reporting for the IBU and overall organization, while upholding values of respect, teamwork, customer focus, integrity, innovation, adaptability, and accountability
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA or CPA/CMA preferred
- 5+ years of experience in Sales and Operations Finance, Financial Planning and Forecasting, or Corporate Finance; knowledge of US GAAP and IAS; manufacturing experience preferred
- Solid understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with ability to summarize and report to all levels of management
- Ability to work deeply in the business to identify opportunities, gather data, validate facts, and drive strategic initiatives
- Ability to lead or support cross-functional projects with Business Leadership, Finance and Operations
- Ability to utilize data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, DOMO) to produce reports and insights
- Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint;
Oracle Net Suite experience beneficial
- Office-based, prolonged sitting and extensive use of computer and phone
- Travel up to 20% domestically and internationally for project/system support
- Occasionally lift up to 15 pounds
Normal manufacturing and office environment. PPE may be required in some shop areas (safety shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, etc.). May require extended business hours to meet customer needs.

Salary and BenefitsCompetitive base salary in the range of $95,826 to $119,782, plus annual bonus opportunities based on performance. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, Health Savings Account with company match, 401(k) with Vanguard, and paid time off including volunteer time off and holidays.
