Adecco is currently hiring a full-time detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Clerk to support our finance team. This role is primarily focused on Accounts Payable, with additional Accounts Receivable duties during peak periods or college vacation coverage. You should be accurate, efficient, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Pay Rate: $23-$24/hour (depending upon experience)
  • Location: Saskatoon, SK
  • Job type: Temporary | Full-time | 2-3 weeks with possibility of extension

Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable (Primary Responsibilities):
  • Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner
  • Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable tax regulations (e.g., GST/HST)
  • Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payments and account status
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable
Accounts Receivable (As Needed / During College Vacation Periods):
  • Prepare and issue customer invoices
  • Record and apply customer payments
  • Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue accounts
  • Assist with account reconciliations and aging reports
  • Respond to customer inquiries related to billing and payments
  • Banking of customer cheques
Qualifications:
  • Diploma or certificate in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in accounts payable; accounts receivable experience is an asset
  • Knowledge of Canadian accounting practices and sales taxes (GST/HST)
  • Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
