We have an immediate opening for an Accounting assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage financial processes with independence and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and process incoming invoices with a high degree of accuracy.

Prepare and remit payments to vendors in a timely and accurate manner.

Review and reconcile vendor, credit card and bank statements.

Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain strong relationships.

Process customer invoices.

Ensure all payables and receivables are processed in accordance with procedures.

Maintain strict confidentiality and accuracy in all financial records.

Perform additional accounting and administrative duties as needed.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, preferably in a similar role.

Post-secondary education in Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, inventory management and financial reporting.

Experience using accounting software, knowledge of SAP an advantage however full training will be given.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Strong communication skills.

High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
