Ocean Transportation Accountant

Canpotex, a leading supplier of potash, is seeking an experienced Accountant to enhance its Finance team. This role requires a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related fields and three to five years of accounting experience. Your expertise in financial processes and systems will contribute to effective decision-making and operational success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records for designated entities

• Prepare monthly journal entries and account adjustments

• Perform account reconciliations for financial data accuracy

• Create reports and provide analytical insights

• Support budgeting and prepare documentation for variance analysis

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting or Finance

• 3-5 years’ experience in accounting roles

• CPA designation preferred

• Strong accounting principles knowledge

• Familiarity with accounting systems and tools
