Accountant, Financial Reporting, Financial Analyst

Reporting directly to the Finance Director, the accountant is responsible for financial and accounting operations. He ensures compliance with practices and guarantees the reliability of financial information provided to management.

• Support general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll activities
• Ensure the accuracy and compliance of accounting entries and financial reports
• Participate in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
• Assist with substitutions (vacations, absences, etc.)
• Implement and enforce internal financial policies and procedures
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits
• Identify and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce financial risk
• Perform all other related duties

• Degree in accounting, finance, or administration (CPA designation or in the process of obtaining it is an asset)
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role in finance or accounting
• Experience in team management or supervision
• Good knowledge of accounting software; knowledge of Acomba software is an asset
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
• Knowledge of the construction industry is an asset
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage priorities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
