Position Overview
Salary: $25–$30 per hour, depending on experience and education.

Location:

Saskatoon, SK.

Terms:

Part‑time (1–2 days in the office, 1–2 days remote).

The Chicken Farmers of Saskatchewan (CFS) is a producer‑run, non‑profit organization funded exclusively by Saskatchewan producers.

Responsibilities

Handle all financial affairs of the office, including expenses, banking, payroll (and T4s), and monthly and year‑end financial statements using Sage Accounting and Auto Entry software, with assistance on budgeting.

Liaison for annual third‑party audit.

Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable with support from the Production Manager.

Main contact for provincial labor standards regulations, benefits, and pension plans.

Keep the office organized and answer general phone inquiries.

Provide routine clerical duties and other miscellaneous administrative duties within the office.

Qualifications

Reliable, positive, energetic attitude.

Degree or diploma in accounting, administration, or related field with at least 3 years of experience in administration and/or accounting (including payroll).

Experience with Sage Accounting and preferably Auto Entry programs, general computer literacy skills.

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate in person and over the phone.

Dependable, confident, mature, self‑motivated, pleasant individual.

Experience with farmers or in the agriculture industry is a plus.
