Become an Accounting Officer at the Battlefords Agency Tribal Chiefs in North Battleford, SK. This Full-Time position is pivotal for financial coordination and reporting.

As an experienced Accounting Officer, you will assist in a comprehensive range of accounting services that promote the efficiency of the financial department r responsibilities will include processing various accounting transactions, preparing journal entries, and reconciling accounts. You will collaborate closely with the Finance Controller and support payroll processing as well.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate processing of accounting transactions

• Manage purchase orders and cheque requisitions

• Create and input journal entries into the system

• Reconcile vendor invoices and perform audits

• Assist with processing payroll and bank deposits

Requirements:

• Relevant experience in an accounting capacity

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills

• Effective communication and collaboration abilities

• Proficient in financial reporting methodologies

• Ability to work within a finance team environment
