Location: Kindersley

Full Time Corporate Services Assistant
The Town of Kindersley is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Administration Office as a Full‑Time Corporate Services Assistant, with a primary focus on Accounts Payable and general administrative support.

This position is responsible for processing invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the Town. The successful candidate will also provide general administrative and customer service support and may be cross‑trained in other corporate services functions including but not limited to accounts receivable, utilities, and taxation.

Key Responsibilities

Process accounts payable invoices, including reviewing, coding, entering, and filing invoices

Verify invoices for accuracy and ensure appropriate approvals are obtained

Prepare and process payments to vendors

Maintain accurate vendor and payment records

Reconcile invoices and statements and follow up on discrepancies

Assist with month‑end and year‑end accounts payable processes

Respond to vendor inquiries and assist with resolving payment issues

Provide general administrative support to the Administration Office

Process payments and cash receipting as required

Provide customer service in person, by phone, and email

Assist with office supplies, mail, work orders, and daily deposits

Assist with other corporate services functions, including accounts receivable, utilities, taxation, permits, and licenses

Support management and staff with administrative tasks as required

Qualifications

Post‑secondary education in administration or related experience is an asset

Strong customer service and communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
