Position: Accounting Clerk at City
Become a vital part of the City of Saskatoon's finance team as an Accounting Clerk. This position involves verifying documents, data entry, and performing clerical accounting duties.

As an Accounting Clerk with CUPE 59, you will work under the Accounts Payable Coordinator, focusing on the accurate processing of accounts payable documents and maintaining the general ledger.

Your role will include preparing invoices, conducting reviews, and ensuring transactions are complete and compliant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify and assemble supplier invoices for payment

• Enter data into the accounts payable system

• Balance the monthly general ledger expenditures

• Answer supplier inquiries and maintain statements

• Produce reports and correspondence as needed

Requirements:

• Grade 12 education and post-secondary business program

• Minimum five years of related experience

• Strong knowledge of accounts payable systems

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

• Ability to establish effective working relationships
