Position: Invigilator Campus (Casual 2026-27)

Job Duties
  • The invigilator assumes responsibility for test room security and administration of test materials, including but not limited to picking up, checking and setting up test materials, ensuring electronic testing equipment is functioning, administering test materials, collecting completed tests, processing payments, and returning completed tests to administrators.
  • Exam Security
    • Follow the protocols for exam security and integrity and candidate check‑in as laid out in the manual and/or the specialized exam guidelines.
    • Confirm attendance, ensure correct exam papers/packages are received and ready for exam start, distribute appropriate exam papers, and instruct students regarding correct start and finish times.
  • Administration
    • Check out exams and other materials from the Test Centre or IELTS office and carry out admin work before exams.
    • Arrange rooms, tables and chairs according to the number of candidates, set up seating charts, and arrange specialized dividers where applicable.
  • Computer Skills
    • Ability to scan and photograph documents for  on specialized exams.
    • Keyboarding skills – able to type at a reasonable speed.
    • Data entry using online booking systems such as Accommodate and Register Blast, and creating Excel spreadsheets.
    • Use Outlook for email and calendar management.
  • Supervision
    • Record start and end times for exams as they are turned in.
    • Actively patrol the exam room to prevent cheating.
    • Only allow candidates to leave after all exam materials have been collected and accounted for.
  • Confidentiality
    • Ensure that confidential materials such as IDs remain secure.
Qualifications
  • Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • Effective organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Effective interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrates valuing diversity.

    Salary range: $20.53–$24.53 per hour.
