Drive the academic timetable process at Saskatchewan Polytechnic as a Timetabling Specialist. Utilize your expertise in data entry and analysis for effective scheduling.
In this role, you will be responsible for producing the Academic Timetable annually, ensuring conflict-free schedules for all programs. A diploma in Information Technology is preferred, along with two years of relevant experience in database administration. Mastery of Bannr and MS Teams is essential as you work alongside Program Chairs and the Team Lead to resolve scheduling conflicts and enhance timetable quality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Validate course loading data from Program Heads before scheduling
• Schedule and manage course sections for various programs
• Ensure timetables utilize academic space efficiently
• Address inquiries related to timetable changes
• Participate in improving scheduling procedures based on feedback
Requirements:
• Diploma in relevant technology field
• Minimum two years’ experience in database management
• Intermediate skills in MS Office and database software
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
