The Dumont Technical Institute, a Division Of Gabriel Dumont Institute Of Native Studies And Applied Research, Invites Applications For The Following Position

Responsibilities
The Administrative Assistant will provide support to the implementation team for the new Student Information System; be responsible for drafting meeting minutes and notes throughout system implementation to help establish decision making criteria and rationale; support the development of training materials for internal staff use; as a member of the testing team, this position will work in the system to help test inputs and student data against the current student data system such as registration and admissions.

The Administrative Assistant will create new student records; schedule and coordinate meetings; support staff with policy and process documentation along with change management to ensure all stakeholders are engaged.

Qualifications
The successful candidate will have a Diploma or Certificate in the office administration field and a minimum of one-year relevant experience. Candidates with one-year post-secondary and equivalent experience may be considered. The individual must have sound knowledge of, and have practical application skills in, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc). Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, flexibility, highly motivated and the ability to work with individuals from various equity groups and with little supervision is required.
