Coordinate staff schedules with the City of Saskatoon in this part-time role. Utilize automated systems to ensure proper staffing of recreation facilities while receiving guidance from the Recreation Services Manager.
This permanent part-time position under CUPE 59 focuses on staff scheduling across designated department sites. You'll develop work schedules, manage staff assignments, and respond to inquiries, ensuring compliance with labor regulations and policies. Experience in a unionized environment and expertise in project planning are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate staff scheduling using automated systems
• Develop and revise work schedules for department sites
• Distribute schedules to ensure timely posting
• Adjust staffing levels for vacations and absences
• Provide training on the scheduling system
Requirements:
• Grade 12 education
• One-year post-secondary business program graduate
• Four years' scheduling experience
• Knowledge of labor regulations
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
