Vehicle Appraiser

Position: Full-Time Vehicle Appraiser
Become an integral part of our Saskatoon Central Claims Centre as a Full-Time Vehicle Appraiser. This role focuses on evaluating vehicle conditions, estimating actual cash value, and overseeing repairs.

The Appraiser examines and analyzes vehicle damage while determining repair costs and depreciation. Working on an extended hours rotational basis, you will engage directly with customers, adjusters, and repair shops. Your insights will ensure accurate assessments across various vehicle types, including heavy trucks and specialty items.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify vehicle make and model, recording details

• Inspect and analyze damaged vehicle parts

• Assess vehicle condition and estimate actual cash value

• Code labour time and parts needed for repairs

• Liaise with repair shops and discuss appraisal findings

Requirements:

• Journeyperson certificate in relevant automotive field

• Platinum I-CAR certification and valid driver’s license

• 5-7 years of industry experience required

• Advanced knowledge of automotive repair processes

• Familiarity with SGI policies and appraisal procedures
