Claims Appraiser

Join SGI as a Claims Appraiser in Saskatoon, focusing on vehicle assessment and cash valuation. This full-time role supports claims processing in a collaborative office environment.

The Claims Appraiser role is imperative for ensuring accurate evaluations of vehicle conditions. You will conduct in-depth inspections and provide estimates based on your extensive automotive knowledge and experience. Collaborating with customers, adjusters, and repair shops, you'll resolve appraisal discrepancies and oversee repair evaluations, working on a rotational schedule from Tuesday to Saturday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and document vehicle damage assessments

• Determine actual cash values for vehicles and equipment

• Code repair times and parts accurately for claims

• Discuss appraisals with customers and professionals

• Conduct in-progress reviews of vehicle repairs

Requirements:

• Certified Journeyperson in related automotive fields

• Platinum I-CAR certification is a must

• 5-7 years of relevant experience required

• Valid driver's license needed for position

• In-depth understanding of vehicle repair and appraisal methods
