Your area of focusThe Detailer Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring vehicles are prepared and delivered to customers in excellent condition while supporting the day-to-day operations of the detailing department. This role combines hands‑on detailing work with coordination support, helping maintain high dealership standards, workflow efficiency, inventory control, and a clean, organized work environment. You’ll supervise detailers, support daily operations, and help ensure vehicles consistently meet quality standards before delivery.
Whatdrives your day-to-day?
- Oversee the daily flow of the detailing department and support coordination of work assignments
- Perform interior and exterior vehicle detailing to dealership and delivery standards
- Supervise and support detailers to ensure quality, consistency, and efficiency
- Conduct quality control checks on completed vehicles before customer delivery
- Maintain inventory of detailing supplies and ensure materials are stocked and organized
- Perform general detailing tasks including vacuuming, deodorizing, washing, and polishing vehicles
- Ensure vehicle exteriors are clean, smudge‑free, and presentation‑ready
- Detail interiors including dashboards, consoles, floor mats, and upholstery care
- Apply paint sealant and polish wheels and rims as required
- Use a variety of hand tools and cleaning equipment, including power washers
- Identify and report any vehicle concerns that may require repair or further attention
- Complete required checklists and documentation accurately and on time
- Support other related duties as needed to keep operations running smoothly
- Minimum 1 year of experience in vehicle detailing or a similar hands‑on automotive role
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence with a clean driving record
- Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high‑quality work
- Comfortable working with cleaning products, hand tools, and power equipment
- Ability to manage priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Physically able to meet job demands, including standing for long periods and lifting as required
- Strong reliability and a team‑first mindset
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
