Location: MartensvilleThe Civil Construction Foreman will provide on-site direction, coordination, and supervision to ensure completion and quality of civil work on our multi-family residential construction site. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and a working knowledge of various civil and residential construction means and methods.
Your contributions to the team:
Perform civil works coordination, inspections, and quantity measurementCheck grades and elevations of newly installed infrastructureMonitor and coordinate contractor progress to ensure work is completed within construction scheduleCheck for compliance to plans and specificationsReview and confirmation of monthly progress worksheets and measurementsMaintain an as-built plan and communicate changes to Civil TeamFollow up on deficiencies to ensure timely correction and completion of workAssure compliance with the project construction schedule and budgetsUphold the job-related safety regulations, policies, and proceduresEnsure project materials and workmanship meet the project quality standardsUse best efforts to resolve any scheduling challenges/disputes between on-site subcontractors and suppliers.What you need to be successful:
High School Diploma/GED CompletionValid Driver’s License, class 3 would be an assetMinimum 2 years of civil construction experienceMinimum 2 years of experience overseeing project sites/civil crews is an assetEquipment operation is an assetValid Class 5 Driver's LicenseUnderstanding of methodology and terminology in the civil construction industryProven ability to read and interpret blueprints and other construction drawingsWorking experience in earthworks and utility installationResults-focused with a proven track record of accomplishments in the construction fieldAbility to travel and work on various job sites at different territorial locationsWhy Seymour Pacific?
