Highway Construction Senior Inspector Ontario

Location: Warman

Take the lead in highway construction inspections as a Senior Inspector in Ontario. Oversee compliance, maintain records, and ensure quality on construction sites statewide.

In this key position, you will inspect highway construction contracts, ensuring compliance with MTO guidelines and environmental standards.

Your role involves documenting daily contractor activities and ensuring all specifications are met accurately. This role will require travel across Ontario to evaluate multiple project sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections of highway construction contracts

• Keep detailed daily diaries of contractor activities and progress

• Verify compliance with legal and construction standards

• Sample materials for quality assurance and compliance

• Ensure contractor adherence to health and safety regulations

Requirements:

• OACETT certification and Road Construction Senior Inspector designation

• Experience inspecting at least 1-3 highway construction projects

• Sound knowledge of construction design standards and materials

• Familiarity with Occupational Health and Safety regulations

• Willingness to travel across Ontario for inspections
