We are looking for a highly motivated self‑starter to strengthen our engineering team in Saskatchewan. As a Pier Solutions project manager you will be tasked with assisting in the management of construction projects and providing technical services. This role merges technical engineering and practical construction services.

Reporting To
Director of Operations

Responsibilities

Lead multiple projects at a time, both on‑site and from the office.

Support all aspects of construction work, including:

Develop proposals for various contract models.

Prepare estimates for quoted and tendered work.

Provide on‑site labour to assist construction crews.

Manage schedules, materials, and subcontractors.

Aide in job cost tracking.

Prepare and submit environmental management plans.

Support safety coordinator in completing daily and project‑specific safety requirements.

Report on project progress, offer viable solutions and opportunities as they arise.

Submit and track RFIs, change orders, and site instructions.

Provide technical services, including:

Bridge/structure inspections, maintenance plans, load ratings, and other design services.

Write technical reports and review proposals and estimates.

Communicate customer issues and devise ways to improve the customer experience, resolving problems and complaints.

Additional responsibilities will be added over time.

Other Requirements

Civil technology diploma or civil engineering degree.

At least three years of project management and/or bridge engineering experience (preferred).

At least five years of experience within the construction industry (preferred).

Bridge experience is an asset but not required.

Specialized training in timber structures is an asset but not required.

Construction/carpentry experience is an asset but not required.

Effective communication with trade contractors, citizens, and technical/design team.

Ability to offer superb client experiences through effective management.

Juggling many responsibilities in the field and at the office.

Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and commitment to well‑constructed projects.

Class 5 driver’s license.

Character
