This role demands experienced Equipment Operators who can handle heavy machinery and work on powerline projects. You will perform rock drilling, trenching, and assist in site preparation, ensuring safety protocols are met. Teamwork and dedication are essential as you collaborate with crew members to achieve production goals across various challenging environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate excavators, backhoes, and skid steers efficiently
• Perform rock drilling and soil trenching tasks
• Undertake general labor duties including digging and site clearing
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and pre-trips
• Follow safety policies and participate in meetings
Requirements:
• Experience operating heavy equipment in utilities or construction
• Rock drilling experience in rugged terrain required
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license;
Class 1A or 3A preferred
• Commitment to safety and teamwork in outdoor conditions
• Strong work ethic for physically demanding tasks
