As a Building Inspector with the City of Saskatoon, you'll play a critical role in overseeing compliance with the National Building Code and local bylaws. You'll conduct inspections, review applications, and maintain thorough documentation in this vital role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and approve building applications for residential and commercial projects

• Schedule and conduct inspections at various construction phases

• Maintain detailed inspection records and issue compliance reports

• Circulate plans for departmental approvals and issue building permits

• Prepare correction notices and enforce stop work orders

Requirements:

• Grade 12 education with an architectural technology diploma

• Five years in building construction experience

• Valid Level 2 Saskatchewan Building Official Licence

• Class 5 Driver's Licence with a clean driving record

• In-depth knowledge of compliance standards and building codes
