Take on the role of Scraper Operator in road maintenance from May through October. This permanent seasonal position focuses on scraper operation, maintenance, and collaborative efforts.
This position is integral to the RM's road construction crew, involving the operation of motor scrapers and minor repairs as needed. Having a sound knowledge of construction procedures and effective communication will help strengthen team dynamics and ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate motor scraper units for road projects
• Perform basic maintenance and repair tasks on scrapers
• Document work accurately in detailed reports
• Interact professionally with the public and coworkers
• Work flexible hours depending on weather events
Requirements:
• Class 1A driver's license is a plus
• Mandatory clear Class 5 driver's license
• Preference for Grade 12 education
• Experience with scraper operation and maintenance
• Understanding of road maintenance methods
