Compensation
Assistant Site Superintendent: $75,000–$90,000 annually
Site Superintendent: $85,000–$100,000 annually
Vehicle or vehicle allowance available for the Site Superintendent

Taylor Ryan Executive Search Partners is working with an established residential home builder in Saskatoon to hire both a Site Superintendent and an Assistant Site Superintendent .
These opportunities are suited to construction professionals who take pride in building quality homes, maintaining organized job sites, and developing strong working relationships with trades and subcontractors.
The Site Superintendent will lead daily site operations and take ownership of construction progress, trade coordination, quality, safety, scheduling, and project completion.
The Assistant Site Superintendent will work closely with the site leadership team, supporting daily construction activities while continuing to develop toward a lead superintendent position.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead day-to-day construction activities across assigned residential sites.
Coordinate trades, subcontractors, suppliers, inspections, and material deliveries.
Manage construction schedules and keep homes progressing toward completion and possession dates.
Review drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and construction requirements.
Monitor workmanship and ensure homes meet company quality standards.
Identify and resolve construction issues before they affect schedule, cost, or quality.
Conduct regular site inspections and follow up on deficiencies or incomplete work.
Maintain safe, clean, and organized construction sites.
Communicate progress, risks, and required decisions to construction leadership.
Build professional and respectful relationships with trades, suppliers, homeowners, and internal teams.
Maintain accurate site records, progress updates, inspection documentation, and deficiency reports.
Assistant Site Superintendent
Support the Site Superintendent with daily construction coordination and site supervision.
Monitor trade activity, workmanship, construction progress, and site conditions.
Assist with scheduling, inspections, quality control, and deficiency management.
Follow up with trades and subcontractors to ensure work is completed correctly and on schedule.
Review drawings and help identify construction issues or missing information.
Coordinate materials, site access, deliveries, and upcoming work activities.
Help maintain accurate site documentation and progress updates.
Support site safety, cleanliness, and company construction standards.
Take on increasing responsibility while developing toward a Site Superintendent position.
QUALIFICATIONS
Proven experience managing residential construction sites, ideally with a home builder or residential general contractor.
Strong understanding of residential construction sequencing from excavation through possession.
Experience coordinating multiple trades, subcontractors, inspections, schedules, and deficiencies.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and scopes of work.
Demonstrated leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to independently organize site priorities and keep construction moving forward.
Strong knowledge of construction quality, safety, and site documentation.
Clear and professional communication with trades, suppliers, homeowners, and internal teams.
Assistant Site Superintendent
Previous experience in residential construction, site coordination, carpentry, or a related construction environment.
Practical understanding of construction sequencing, site activities, and trade coordination.
Ability to read construction drawings or willingness to further develop this skill.
Strong organizational skills and consistent follow-through.
Confidence communicating with trades, subcontractors, suppliers, and site leadership.
Willingness to learn, take direction, and gradually assume greater site responsibility.
