Elevate your career with Fortis Mining as an Underground Mining Construction Supervisor. This essential role focuses on ensuring safety and productivity in ongoing mining operations in Saskatchewan.
As a supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of potash mining projects at the Colonsay site, bringing over five years of mining construction experience. You will lead your team while maintaining safety and operational standards, coordinating training, and addressing performance issues as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely manage underground construction activities on site
• Guide and train personnel in their operational roles
• Conduct audits and address safety compliance
• Liaise with management and operations to streamline processes
• Troubleshoot production challenges effectively
Requirements:
• At least five years in mining operations or construction
• Valid underground supervision ticket under Saskatchewan regulations
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Effective verbal and written communication in English
• Excellent safety record and relevant training certifications
