General Supervisor for Open Pit Mining

In this leadership role, you will directly report to the Superintendent, managing day-to-day operations in Surface Operations. Your primary goal will be to ensure compliance with Agnico Eagle's cultural values while achieving performance targets. Collaborating with teams and overseeing subcontractor activities are key to maximizing efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct supervision of open pit mining operations

• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

• Coach and develop supervisors for enhanced teamwork

• Evaluate contractor performance and address operational issues

• Assist in budgeting and resource planning activities

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification

• Minimum 5 years' supervisory experience

• Background in mining or earthworks preferred

• Strong teamwork and communication abilities

• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
