Safety Advisor at SSR Mining Seabee

This role involves reporting to the Safety Superintendent, where you’ll take charge of implementing the SHEMS program within the underground operations. You will drive risk management processes, conduct compliance inspections, and support safety training efforts. Your leadership will exemplify SSR Mining's commitment to health and safety excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain safety policies and procedures

• Conduct inspections ensuring compliance with H&S standards

• Oversee safety and health training at the site

• Coordinate WCB item compliance in accordance with laws

• Participate in the site emergency response program

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the mining sector

• Knowledge of H&S systems beneficial

• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills

• Ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment
