Location: North Battleford

Join CBC/Radio-Canada as a Reporter/Editor in North Battleford, where you'll tell important stories and connect with the community. This full-time role spans digital, radio, and television.

As a vital member of our North Battleford team, you’ll pitch, research, and produce compelling content that engages and informs audiences. You'll work independently while collaborating with fellow journalists across CBC to amplify diverse voices and community narratives. Your adaptability will be essential as you navigate between local stories and broader news events while ensuring quality reports that resonate with Canadians.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and produce original content for varied platforms

• Respond to and report on breaking news events

• Build connections within the local community for sourcing stories

• Collaborate with CBC teams for effective story development

• Maintain journalistic integrity and accuracy in reporting

Requirements:

• Minimum three years of experience in journalism

• Strong ability to write and edit for various formats

• Experience in live reporting both in-studio and on-site

• Active driver's license meeting CBC's insurance criteria

• Flexibility to accommodate a varied work schedule
