Building Standards Customer Service Administrator

This role includes receiving and processing applications for municipal services via various channels. You will respond to inquiries regarding programs, permits, and service issues while ensuring compliance with bylaws and regulations. Your expertise in customer service will help resolve complex concerns effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process applications for municipal services
• Respond to customer inquiries and complaints
• Collect fees and issue documents for permits
• Assist in training new staff as necessary
• Ensure compliance with bylaws and regulations
Requirements:
• Business college or one-year post-secondary program
• Minimum four years of customer service experience
• Typing speed of 45+ words per minute
• Knowledge of building design terminology
• Ability to handle complex customer issues
