As an Auto Claims Specialist I, you will serve as the first contact for automobile claims. You will gather first notice of loss information, initiate files, and guide customers through initial claims steps. The role includes phone and email communication, straightforward claim resolution, and referrals.
Key Responsibilities:- Respond to automobile claims with professional customer service
- Gather first notice of loss information accurately
- Ask questions supporting the claims process
- Resolve straightforward claims at first contact
- Direct complex needs to appropriate teams
- Minimum two years of customer service experience
- Previous call centre or contact centre experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Empathy during emotionally sensitive interactions
- Type 35 words per minute with 90% accuracy
