The College of Dentistry is seeking applications for a lecturer position in scope of the University of Saskatchewan Faculty Association (USFA). The College is seeking candidates (DMD or DDS) who have experience in teaching in the area of Operative Dentistry. Applicants who have previous teaching and mentoring experience in Dentistry and Dental Therapy programs in Canada will be considered an asset.
The successful candidate will be required to deliver didactic, pre-clinical and clinical teaching;
Applicants must be adept to working in a clinical teaching setting with shifting priorities. Candidates must have a proven track record of effectively working in a team environment, have a pleasant disposition and proven ability to foster and maintain collegial relations. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with the use of Microsoft Office are required.
Salary information for this position for the academic year is $92,639 - $135,479. Independent of rank, a starting salary above the standard salary bands is usually common and possible in the College of Dentistry. This position includes a comprehensive benefits package which includes a dental, health and extended vision care plan, pension plan, life insurance (compulsory and voluntary), academic long-term disability, sick leave, travel insurance, death benefits, an employee assistance program, a professional expense allowance and a flexible health and wellness spending program.
