Dental Assistant for First Nations Health

Location: North Battleford

Join Battle River Treaty 6 Health Centre Inc. as a Dental Assistant dedicated to serving First Nations communities. This full-time, temporary role spans ten months, focusing on children’s dental health.

This position supports the school-based dental program for First Nations children. As a key team member, you will uphold standards of professional conduct while promoting holistic health. Candidates must be registered with the Saskatchewan Dental Assistant Association and have knowledge of community health issues. Experience in First Nations healthcare is strongly preferred to enhance service quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support dental services in a school setting

• Maintain registration and follow professional ethics

• Handle confidential patient information with care

• Utilize Microsoft tools for communication and tasks

• Adapt to changing organizational needs dynamically

Requirements:

• License with Saskatchewan Dental Assistant Association

• Familiarity with First Nations health issues

• Accustomed to using dental technology software

• Class 5 Saskatchewan driver’s license required

• Proven ability to work autonomously and flexibly
