Temporary Dental Assistant in Saskatchewan

Location: North Battleford

Help enhance dental health in First Nations communities as a Temporary Dental Assistant with Battle River Treaty 6 Health Centre Inc. This full-time role is aligned with the school dental program for ten months.

In this impactful position, you will provide dental assistance tailored to the needs of First Nations children. Candidates must hold a valid registration with the Saskatchewan Dental Assistant Association and possess a keen understanding of community-specific health challenges. Your ability to collaborate and build relationships within the community will foster improved health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver dental assistance in school-related settings

• Maintain professional registration and compliance

• Ensure confidentiality and discretion in all duties

• Use Microsoft Office tools for documentation and communication

• Adjust to the evolving demands of the role

Requirements:

• Registered with the Saskatchewan Dental Assistant Association

• Previous experience with First Nations populations

• Skilled in Microsoft Office and dental management software

• Class 5 Saskatchewan driver’s license is mandatory

• Comfortable working independently with minimal oversight
