Position Overview

We are looking for a project manager / OAA Architect, at $80-95k/yr, with experience in residential wood frame construction in Ontario. They will manage multiple small-scale multi-unit residential projects and coordinate a staff of juniors and co-ops. The role is immediately available as a permanent position.

Craig Race Architecture Inc. is a sole proprietorship focused on sustainable, custom residential architecture. Our work is adventurous and contemporary in style. We specialize in unique urban infill projects, including laneway houses, custom homes, multiplexes, and small midrise apartment buildings. The practice is located in downtown Toronto, with projects across southern Ontario.

• Licensed OAA Architect
• Minimum 5 years experience managing small to medium scale residential projects in Ontario
• AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch Up, Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of the Ontario Building Code, Part 9 and 3
• Extensive knowledge of Toronto’s residential zoning bylaws
• Solid management and collaboration skills
• An entrepreneurial spirit
• Excellent organization, teamwork, time management, and communication skills

• Full time work week from our office
• Management of projects, clients, and staff

• Compliance with and development of internal office production standards and infrastructure

• LEED accreditation

• Experience with multiplexes and laneway/garden suites
