Job Description
The – Saskatoon and the University of Saskatchewan, Department of Pediatrics, Division of Neonatology is seeking applications for a permanent full time Neonatologist. The Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital (JPCH) Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is a 48 single room unit that provides patient care to a range of infants, including extremely premature to infants with surgical problems. The JPCH NICU has a wide catchment area providing services to Northern Saskatchewan.
In addition, to standard level 3 newborn care, we offer a variety of active clinical programs such as point of care ultrasound, neuro-critical care and family centered care. The successful candidate will join a team of 5 full-time neonatologists, in a level 2 and 3 NICU, sharing in the clinical workload of the NICU follow up program addition, the team consists of 6 neonatal nurse practitioners and 10 clinical associates.
Job Qualifications
Applicants in consideration will have certification with the in Pediatrics and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine (Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada in both Pediatrics and NICU) and be eligible for licensure with the .
