Key Responsibilities:

• Provide patient-centered inpatient and outpatient care

• Participate in a 1-in-7 on-call service for consults

• Perform necessary electrodiagnostic tests

• Rotate through a 7-bed ICU unit for critical care

• Supervise and teach students and residents

Requirements:

• ABIM certifications in internal medicine and Critical Care required

• Expertise in general internal medicine and critical cases

• Solid grounding in cardiology

• Interest in community education and practice

• Capability to establish an outpatient clinic in Cowichan Valley
