Part Time Faculty II Instructor – Continuing Care Assistant Program

Responsibilities:
To provide practical and theoretical instruction of the Saskatchewan Polytechnic Continuing Care Assistant Certificate program, as well as program support to students. The instructor will be responsible for the planning and delivery of classes and labs, evaluating student performance, and providing academic guidance.
Qualifications:
Candidate must be a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with a degree in Nursing Education or related subject area or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Must be eligible for registration (active status) with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association or the Registered Psychiatric Nurses’ Association of Saskatchewan. Two (2) years recent/relevant work experience that must include experience in gerontology, home care, and special care.
Requires up-to-date TLR, PART, N95 fit testing, First Aid & CPR C with AED, and WHMIS. Experience in adult education and instruction, good interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work with people from various equity groups are required. Experience in long-term care is an asset.
Remuneration: $72,038 – $94,798
Location: Saskatoon, SK
