, a division of the Gabriel Dumont Institute of Native Studies and Applied Research, invites applications for the following position:
- Implementation, coordination and administration of certificate and diploma programs (Continuing Care Assistant, Practical Nursing, Office Administration, Early Childhood Education and Mental Health & Wellness)
- Plan, develop and implement Adult Education Programs (Essential Skills, ABE level 3 &
4) along with trades training programs - Recruit and advertise for qualified students and instructors
- Coordinate practicum placements
- Prepare and oversee budgets, contracts and service agreements
- Coordinate on-site student supports and respond to program related inquiries
- Ensure program delivery supports and resources are in place including accurate completion and submission of student documentation
- Represent DTI in meetings, prepare reports and program updates
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Education, or Social Science
- 3–5 years experience in administration of post‑secondary education and skills training programs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management knowledge
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
- Experience working with Indigenous communities and organizations
- Thorough knowledge of Métis culture and Indigenous education frameworks
- Travel within Saskatchewan is a requirement
