Saskatoon Public Schools is the largest school division in Saskatchewan, seeking dedicated teachers for Japanese classrooms. Applicants must hold a valid Saskatchewan teaching certificate and be fluent in Japanese. Current substitute teachers must re-apply for consideration.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach Japanese language to a diverse group of students
• Substitute teach in other classes as needed
• Prepare innovative lesson plans tailored to students’ needs
• Assess students’ mastery of the Japanese language
• Collaborate with teaching staff to enhance curriculum
Requirements:
• Saskatchewan teacher certification is essential
• Must be fluent in Japanese
• Experience teaching languages is preferred
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Capable of addressing various student learning styles
