Job Summary
A position as an Interpreter/Educational Assistant for Deaf students in an elementary/high school setting.
Required Qualifications
fluent user of American Sign Language (ASL)
experience with Deaf culture and the Deaf community
a preference for a graduate from an ASL interpreter training program
training and/or experience with students in the elementary/high school educational setting
skills in mentoring children with a variety of learning needs and language levels
effective in working as a team member with Teacher of the Deaf, Deaf role model, classroom teachers, and other ASL interpreters
successful related experience
Terms of Employment
As per Collective Agreement.
6.0 hrs/day
To begin August 31, 2026
Salary range - $29.89 - $34.29 per hour
