Position: Teacher Assistant for Student Engagement

Elevate student success as a Teacher Assistant. Engage in direct academic support and facilitate small group activities, fostering a positive learning environment for diverse learners.

This full-time role involves assisting the lead teacher with essential classroom functions, including planning and evaluating instructional strategies. You will provide targeted support for students' academic needs and behavior management, while tracking their progress through organized record-keeping. Your contributions will ensure a clean, orderly, and inclusive classroom atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with instructional planning and activity implementation

• Support and monitor student learning and behavior

• Maintain effective records of student performance

• Carry out clerical duties for classroom management

• Participate in staff development and training workshops

Requirements:

• High school diploma alongside 48 semester hours or higher

• Previous classroom experience preferred

• Proven communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to motivate and support student independence

• Understanding of classroom safety procedures
