ABOUT THE TEAM

RRC Polytech’s Interlake and Peguis – Fisher River Campus serves the communities in the Interlake and North Eastman region by providing a variety of community‑based programs and part‑time courses.

Our administrative offices located in Selkirk manage and coordinate training in locations throughout the Interlake and North Eastman region, with campuses located in Selkirk, Peguis, and Fisher River. The programs and courses we offer are reflective of industry needs and our instructors bring expertise and industry knowledge into the classroom.

We offer flexible delivery options for students to train in a career of their choice, along with options for professionals to upgrade their knowledge and skill sets to enhance their career.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

The Office Manager, Interlake & Peguis Fisher River is responsible for ensuring the efficient running of the office in the regional campus, by establishing and maintaining operations and ensuring effective delivery of courses and programs by providing support to instructors, students and other staff. The incumbent provides leadership within the office, as well as supervision of administrative staff. This role assists with office administration, financial administration, programming, facility and classroom maintenance, as well as student registrar functions.

WHAT

  • Post‑secondary diploma in Business, Administration or Management. An equivalent combination of relevant education, training and experience will be considered
  • Several years of supervisory experience, including office management and administrative operations
  • Experience providing exceptional Customer Service
  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure and meet deadlines in an organized manner
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Effective analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to take initiative and make on the spot decisions
  • Effective written communication skills, including reports and correspondence
  • Effective verbal communication skills, including the development and delivery of presentations
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution skills
  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
