You will report to the Director of the Culture and Heritage Department, engaging in curriculum development from concept to execution. Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor of Education, K-12 teaching experience, and a thorough understanding of Métis education. Your contributions will range from needs analysis to financial reporting and managing departmental projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop comprehensive curriculums in multiple formats
• Conduct needs assessments to inform curriculum strategy
• Revise educational materials based on feedback
• Work with Michif language experts in resource creation
• Lead project initiatives and manage budgets
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Education and significant K-12 experience
• Extensive knowledge of Métis culture and education
• Excellent interpersonal and flexible working style
• Advanced skills in publishing and graphic design software
• Valid Saskatchewan driver’s license with travel readiness
