Join Sakewew High School in North Battleford as a full-time educator for grades 9-12. We are hiring for two teaching roles, beginning August 2026.
At Sakewew High School, part of the Battlefords First Nations Joint Board of Education, you will have the opportunity to teach in a culturally enriched environment. One position caters to grades 9 and 10, while another will focus on senior English courses and select upper grade subjects. Familiarity with Cree Language and Culture is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate learning in grades 9 and 10

• Focus on senior English along with grade 10-12 courses

• Create lesson plans that incorporate Cree culture

• Engage students in discussions and projects

• Collaborate with other teachers and staff
Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Education required

• Availability for full-time teaching starting August 2026

• Knowledge of Cree Language and Culture beneficial

• Required criminal and vulnerable sector checks
