Instructor, Primary Care Paramedic

Position Summary

Southeast College is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual for the Main Instructor position for the Primary Care Paramedic program at the Weyburn campus. The program will run every 2nd weekend (Friday, Saturday & Sunday).

Weyburn, Saskatchewan

Contract, ASAP to June 30, 2026

Per SGEU Instructional Grid plus market stipend.

• Plan and facilitate the program, including providing tutorials, facilitating labs, scenario skill practice, small group sessions, and lectures, and evaluating the course/program and the results of the teaching process.
• Manage the learning workplace in alignment with policies and recognized adult learning protocols.

• Completion of an Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP) Program from an approved school.
• A minimum of two years of recent experience as an ACP.
• Licensed and in valuable standing with the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics (SCoP).
• Current instructor level status with International Trauma Life Support (ITLS).
• Current instructor level status with Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Current provider level certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support (PALS).
