Lead the conversation on Indigenous resilience at SUNTEP Saskatoon as a Sessional Instructor for INDG 107.3 this Fall. Engage students in critical reflection on Aboriginal societies and contemporary challenges.
In this role, you will plan, prepare, and facilitate course instruction aimed at fostering critical thinking among students. Assessment of student progress will be pivotal, along with the capacity to promote a respectful learning environment. Skills in cultural responsiveness will enhance interactions with Indigenous student populations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and deliver engaging course lectures
• Facilitate classroom discussions and activities
• Assess and provide constructive feedback to students
• Incorporate culturally relevant teaching strategies
• Explore topics such as identity and land relations
Requirements:
• Master’s degree or equivalent related experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Competence working with Indigenous populations
• University of Saskatchewan approval needed
• Commitment to Indigenous ways of knowing and resistance
