Position: Primary Care Paramedic Instructor Wanted

Great Plains College is seeking an enthusiastic Primary Care Paramedics Secondary Instructor at our Warman Campus. This contract position focuses on program delivery, assisting with labs and fostering student engagement.

Set to start on December 1, 2026, and end on July 16, 2027, the successful candidate will drive learning through hands-on practice and tutorial support. With 48.5 student contact days, this role requires extensive knowledge of paramedic procedures and a commitment to education, making it ideal for ACP professionals looking to influence the next generation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver the Saskatchewan Polytechnic PCP Program effectively

• Facilitate practical labs and skills training sessions

• Guide small group activities for deeper learning

• Apply adult education principles in teaching

• Encourage student collaboration and diversity

Requirements:

• Advanced Care Paramedic Program completion

• 1-2 years’ recent ACP experience

• Valid certification from Saskatchewan College of Paramedics

• Provider-level certification in ACLS and PALS

• Excellent presentation and communication abilities
