St. Thomas More College offers Sessional Lecturer roles for Winter 2026 in Saskatoon. Teach Sociology and French courses while enhancing student engagement.
Three available contract positions seek candidates with a University Master's Degree for teaching Sociology and French. This role requires demonstrated experience in the curriculum areas along with the ability to mentor teaching assistants. Regular office hours are essential for student support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct lectures and facilitate course discussions
• Grade assignments and provide feedback
• Oversee the work of teaching assistants if needed
• Maintain open office hours for student inquiries
Requirements:
• Must hold a Master's Degree;
Ph.D. preferred
• Relevant teaching experience is mandatory
• Knowledge of Collective Agreement provisions
• Strong communication skills for effective teaching
• Passion for promoting student success
