Position: High School Education Roles at Sakewew
Location: north battleford

Make a difference in education at Sakewew High School, located in North Battleford. We are offering two full-time teacher roles for grades 9-12, starting August 2026.
As part of the Battlefords First Nations Joint Board of Education, you will be teaching approximately 250 students annually in a diverse academic environment. One position focuses on grades 9 and 10, while the other specializes in senior English and other subjects.

Experience with Cree Language and Culture is an asset that will enhance your classroom experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Educate students in grades 9 and 10 subjects

• Teach senior English and other courses for grades 10-12

• Develop culturally relevant teaching materials

• Foster student engagement in academic and cultural activities

• Collaborate with colleagues in curriculum development
Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Education is a must

• Full-time availability from August 2026

• Knowledge of Cree Language and Culture preferred

• Criminal record and vulnerable sector checks mandatory

• Dedication to fostering a positive learning environment
